Announcing the Upcoming DPUSA Board Election – 2025

Hello!  Welcome!  DPUSA nominations time!  Now, we have a committee working on the upcoming election. I’m Sherry Duhon (Delaware) and Chair, Raychelle Harris (Texas), Bob Dramin (Ill). It’s a busy time – nominating for different roles within the DPUSA board. I’ll expand on each position now:
President
The President is the main spokesperson for the DPUSA and runs meetings – board, business and general meetings. With the approval of the Board, the President will appoint standing committee chairs and be an ex officio member of all committees.
Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for recording the minutes of the annual general meeting.
Treasurer
The Treasurer manages DPUSA’s funds and will also chair the Finance Committee.
Social Media
Develops and maintains all DPUSA-related social media platforms and websites.
Terms of Board
The President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Social Media Specialist, Resource Development, and Director of the National Tournament serve for a maximum of three (3) consecutive two-year terms.
Timeline
We will start accepting nominations beginning July 1.
And close nominations August 1. 
Finalists will be announced on September 1.
Even though there is a deadline, we will be available at the National Deaf Pickleball Tournament depending on last minute nominations.
Eligibility requirements: 
* Must be DPUSA member for at least one year  
* Submit a brief vlog explaining why you want to be nominated
* Vlog should include pickleball experience as well as what they will contribute to DPUSA. 
* Include a  transcript of your video
* All vlogs and transcripts should be submitted to me at Sherryd354@gmail.com
