Benjamin Coleman is a Deaf athlete whose journey in sports, especially pickleball, has been shaped by resilience, identity, and purpose. After a successful background in basketball and other sports, he found pickleball during a difficult period in his life, where it became a source of healing and stability. Beyond competition, he is passionate about making the sport more inclusive—especially by improving communication access and creating ASL-based instructional content. Through his work as a teacher, coach, and community leader, Coleman focuses on empowering others, particularly within the Deaf community. Today, his definition of success centers on impact, accessibility, and helping others feel seen and supported.
